If you were asked the question: “What is Cashmere?” What may show up in your mind? Soft; Expensive; Warm; Light. These are all right about characters of Cashmere. But do you know where cashmere is from? I guess most of people have no idea about that. 
Here are some knowledge about cashmere. 
Cashmere is a fiber obtained from cashmere goats and other types of goat. (That is why when you go to Australia and New Zealand you can only find wool products, no cashmere products. Because they only have sheep.)
More than 70% of raw cashmere is from China.Inner Mongolia produces 1/3 of raw cashmere in the world. Cashmere is accounted for only 0.2% of the total out put of the world animal fiber. (That is why people call cashmere the King of Fiber.)
